Désirée Sessegolo. Amazzonia
The confluence between visual arts and nature is one of the poetic aspects of the work.
The leaves symbolise the cycle of life in the forest, and stir up feelings that can lead to critical thinking about man's relationship with nature.
In the immaterial realm, the voids in the piece, like invisible fields inserted in the rigid glass structure, allude to and call for reflection on the fragility of the environment.
Désirée Sessegolo (Brazil, 1963) is a multidisciplinary artist. Her work embraces multiple artistic forms: graphics, communication and glass and ceramic sculptures.
