"Impira e impara" become a beadstringer for a day with the help of Venetian "Impiraresse" teachers of the CPVV Committee in Milan on the occasion of the first edition of "The Italian Glass Weeks".
A playful activity to bring the yougest closer to the knowledge of the Art of Glass Beads practiced in Venice since 1338 and kept alive by Beadmakers, Threaders, Grinders and Glass Masters.
Children will have fun with the shapes and colors of the beads to create their own glass jewel to keep as a souvenir of the experience.
In December 2020 the Art of Glass Beads was recognized as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity (UNESCO Convention 2003).
This initiative intends to enhance the intangible heritage linked to the Art of Glass Beads.
Kids must be accompanied by an adult.
