Tanja Pak. Silence

Event organised by Tanja Pak
A group of three pieces of molten glass in different shades of sky-grey invites the viewer to contemplate and perceive the invisible line between Here and There, between Being and Non-Being, which appears as a soft transition of saturation. The works tell the story of a Silence built within oneself while walking through Time and Being and which reflects the awareness of the space between Here and There. It is an intimate "reverie" of isolated worlds.

Tanja Pak (Slovenia, 1971) has a master’s degree in art from the Royal College of Art, London, and BA in industrial design from the Academy of Fine Art and Design of the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia, where she now heads the Glass and Ceramics department. She won several international art and design awards as well as artist residencies around the world, including The Corning Museum of Glass, Creative Glass Center of America, Pilchuck and Musée du Verre in France. She exhibits worldwide.
