A symbolic event of rebirth, the glassmakers have decided to close El cocal glass studio and change its location to replace it with a larger one. The glassmakers are not giving up, but are enlarging and expanding as an international network of artists who collaborate to create unique design pieces. They want to work in a more sustainable way by joining other local furnaces and collaborating with local workers to be able to support the future of Murano glass.
To celebrate the rebirth we will organise a conference to talk about this more sustainable transformation and a subsequent all-glass musical performance event where Mona Stereo will perform with her Glass Groove.
