Study days on venetian glass. Cross-influence between two glassmaking traditions: Venice and Islam curated by Rosa Barovier and Cristina Tonini

Event organised by / a cura di Rosa Barovier e Cristina Tonini
The Study Days on Venetian Glass 2022, in its tenth edition, has a rich programme featuring seminars, lessons, visits and practical demonstrations of ancient techniques, with papers and presentations by scholars, all specialists in their field, making this event one of the most important of its kind organised on an international level. The aim is to offer an opportunity for in-depth study and encounters, with an ample exchange of knowledge and experience between historians of glass. Thanks to this initiative, begun in 2012, Venice may become the world centre for the study of antique and contemporary glass and also an outstanding meeting place for scholars, artists and collectors.
