Precious transparencies and magical reflections: the art of glass in the Castello Sforzesco collections

Event organised by Castello Sforzesco
From the ancient Murano glass chalice, that may have belonged to Ludovico il Moro, to the famous “peacocks” stained-glass window - a masterpiece of Milanese Art Nouveau - up to the glass production of the twentieth century enriched by the recent deposit of the Bellini-Pezzoli collection, we travel over five hundred years of the history of the glassmaking tradition to discover fragile and precious artifacts... memories of eternal beauty.
